Abstract

This thesis explores the growth and development of Rastafari, a young and increasingly more significant religion. This paper describes how the early development of Christianity serves as a paradigm for understanding the development of Rastafari. With this comparison, one can see how Rastafari will continue to develop, just as Christianity did in its first few centuries of existence.
