Students prepare for their career in healthcare or veterinary medicine, molecular genetics, or conservation biology in a research-intensive program led by professors who put student education first. The biology major emphasizes scientific skills applicable to any career, while giving students access to a wide variety of courses to match student’s specific interests. Faculty research programs are designed to educate students while contributing to science. Students engage in a semester-long independent research project or participate in the Summer Science Institute. For more information, visit the Biological Sciences webpage.
