Historic Plants

Plants collected prior to 1945. These specimens are collected from all over the United States, especially the East Coast. This sub-collection was created to allow researchers and interested students to see what kind of plants were collected in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, to gain a historical perspective on the Herbarium itself, and to exhibit some of the oldest donated specimens in the collection.
